International Yoga Master, Prof. PhD Predrag (Krsto) Nikic, practices
yoga for decades and educates young yoga instructors. He obtained his
master degree at Department for Psychology and Anthropology of Religion,
as well as at Department of Management with the theme Managers' Personality
Influence on Organizational Culture and he obtained his PhD in the Influence
of Emotional Intelligence. He is the President of the International Society
for Scientific Interdisciplinary Researches in the Field of Yoga, Professor
at the International Academy for Yoga Teachers Education, Honorary President of
the Yoga Federation of Serbia (www.yogasavezsrbije.com),
International Advisor of the World Yoga Council of the International Yoga Federation
and honorary president of the World Commission of Scientific Yoga Research
with HQ in Serbia at the HQ of International Society for Scientific Interdisciplinary Yoga Research. He serves as a President of the General Assembly of Yoga Federation of Europe
Prof. Predrag Nikic, PhD
has been awarded by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee with Padma Shri award for contribution in the field of yoga. President Pranab Mukherjee honoured 56 eminent personalities with Padma awards at the Civil Investiture Ceremony held on 28th March 2016 at Rashtrapati Bhavan, in the presence of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, ministers, diplomats and distinguished guests.
As an internationally recognized Yoga Master, he initiated and organized International Yoga Festival for the first time in Serbia and
the first International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference about Effects of Yoga “YOGA IN SCIENCE – FUTURE AND PERSPECTIVES”
that gathered the greatest yoga authorities in the country and abroad and took place in the Congress Center Sava, on September 2010.
